TRadio Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the TRadio mobile application ("TRadio", "we", "our") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. TRadio is designed to keep your personal app data on your device wherever possible.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Data stored on your device

TRadio stores the following information locally on your device using app storage such as localStorage. This information is not sent to our own servers:

• Your theme preference.
• Your recently played stations.
• Your saved favourite stations.
• Stations you create or save in the app.
• Personal notes or chat-style station notes you add inside the app.
• Cached station labels and app preferences.
• Your advertising consent decision (see Section 2.2).

1.2 Location

If you grant location access inside the app, TRadio may use your approximate or current location to help show nearby stations or tag a station you create. Location access is optional. Your coordinates are not sent to our own servers.

1.3 Network usage

When you play a station, your device connects to public radio stream URLs and station discovery services. Those third-party services may receive standard network information such as your IP address, user agent, request time, and stream request details under their own policies.

2. Third-party services

2.1 Radio Browser and public station sources

TRadio uses public station directory and streaming services to discover and play radio stations. Search terms, station requests, and standard network metadata may be processed by those services when you use those features.

2.2 Advertising (Unity LevelPlay mediation)

TRadio shows ads delivered through Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) mediation. Depending on availability, ads may be served by the following partners, which may collect or use data such as your advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device information, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud:

• ironSource / Unity LevelPlay — privacy policy

• Meta Audience Network — privacy policy
• InMobi — privacy policy
• Pangle — privacy policy

On first launch, TRadio asks for your advertising consent and stores your decision on your device. You can review or change your choices at any time via the Ad privacy options entry in the app menu, including turning individual ad partners off. Sessions involving children's content use non-personalized, child-directed ad treatment.

3. Android permissions used

• Internet: required to play streams, fetch station data, and show ads.
• Advertising ID: used by our advertising partners (Section 2.2) for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention.
• Foreground service / media playback: used to keep radio playback running while the app is in the background.
• Notifications: optional; used for playback-related notifications where supported by Android.
• Location: optional and only used if you grant location access in the app.

4. Children's privacy

TRadio is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through TRadio, please contact us and we will work to delete it where possible.

5. Data retention and deletion

Data stored locally on your device remains until you clear it, uninstall the app, or clear the app's storage through your device settings. You can revoke optional permissions such as notifications or location through Android system settings.

6. Your choices

• Ads: You can change your advertising consent any time via "Ad privacy options" in the app menu, and reset or delete your Android advertising ID in your device privacy settings.
• Location: You can deny or revoke location permission in Android settings.
• Notifications: You can deny or revoke notification permission in Android settings.
• Local data: You can clear app data from Android settings.

7. International users

TRadio may be used internationally. Third-party services used by the app may process data in countries outside your own under their own privacy policies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
